Almost Time..

For our first ultrasound! I am so excited! I think it will become all that more real for us. I have been having the craziest dreams too, and just being so worried that everything is ok. Nothing has "confirmed" it all except a few pregnancy tests so I can wait to see the baby and know that everything is ok. here's my nine week update:

Baby is the size of a: Gumball!

Total weight gain/loss: Minus 7!

Maternity clothes: Nope. I'm gonna be huge in the summer too, so I am holding off another month or so to start looking.

Stretch marks: From before...

Sleep: Exhausted some days

Best moment this week: Getting m/s back. It went away when I had a bad cold, but now it's back and I am glad cause that means I'm still pregnant, as weird as that sounds.

Movement: None yet.

Food cravings: Subway veggie sandwich!

Gender: We'll know in 11 weeks!

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: On

What I miss: Having energy!

What I am looking forward to: My first u/s and being closer to finding out gender

Weekly wisdom: Exercise!

Healthy

This seem like the worst time to take charge of my health and weight, considering I'm pregnant. A lot of doctors say not to worry about your weight, yet don't gain too much. This is really confusing to me and probably the reason i gained so much the first time around. From week six until now (almost week eight) I have had extreme nausea. Just a constant upset stomach, nothing sounds good kind of nausea. At night is usually when I get my appetite back, and it is usually for bland things like breads and also sweets. This is something I am trying to control though. Eating late at night just does not work for me. I have also been so tired. Like one morning I woke up at ten and by two my eyelids would not stay open! I keep reading getting out and being active can help battle fatigue. So that's what I am doing today. I also got my new workout shoes in yesterday so that is even more motivation to go. I am also going to be posting one here about some of the healthy food choices I make. Here is my breakfast this morning, and I am not a breakfast person. But I know eating breakfast can help set your metabolism for the day. A protein waffle. Now off to the gym!

Seven Weeks Today

I feel so busy lately even with not much going on. Just a lot to get done I guess. And getting used to being pregnant again is hard! Tonight I went to dinner with a friend. It was nice to get out kid free. Tomorrow my best friend is coming to stay the night and then we will be going into town to do a little shopping and see my mom. I need to clean my house and fit in a workout and school work tomorrow though. So no relaxing for me! My first appointment is on Monday and I am so excited. We don't get to see or hear the baby yet, but it just feels good to get in for something. Hoping I can get everything done because I am exhausted!

Total weight gain/loss: About 2 lbs

Maternity clothes: Nope, but I prefer leggings or sweats right now, just cause of the bloat

Stretch marks: From before

Sleep: Exhausted, but never sleep.

Best moment this week: Figuring out nursery themes for each gender, and non related my SIL had her baby boy

Movement: None yet.

Food cravings: Watermelon, I would kill for some watermelon right now.

Gender: We'll know in 13 weeks :)

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out: In

Wedding rings on or off: On

What I miss: Having energy

What I am looking forward to: My appointment and being closer to finding out gender

Weekly wisdom: Take time to do things for myself.

Resolution.

I stayed up until midnight! I really wasn't sure if I would make it. I am just so tired these days. We watched 300 and then all the NYE specials and then I went to bed. I was officially six weeks yesterday, which is really exciting because 2 weeks has already flown by since we found out! In honor of it being the New Year and all, I'm going to write down my resolutions for this upcoming year.

  1. While pregnant work out 2-3x a week. Yoga. Walking. Whatever, as long as I am making a conscious effort to do something.
  2. Take charge of our finances. (create a budget)
  3. Grow my hair out! It seems silly, but I HATE my short hair. I keep cutting it because the in between just drives me crazy. But I will let it grow out!
  4. Keep up with school. I am already doing this, but I just want to stay motivated and continue to stay on top of things.
  5. Start my Arbonne business. This is something I really want to do and I need to commit and stick with it!
